The newly remodeled Keauhou Beach Resort, owned by Kamehameha Schools, is dedicated to preserving Hawaiian culture while providing the best in Hawaiian hospitality. Keauhou Beach Resort invites you to a special place where nature and history reside in harmony.  It is truly a place like no other in Hawaii.  Explore ocean tide pools with gentle sea turtles, surf and snorkel in Kahaluu Bay, and stroll through gardens of fragrant plumeria, colorful heleconia, and native ulu (breadfruit), kukui (candlenut), and hala (pandanus).  Here, sunsets paint the sky with passion and stars light the heavens like brilliant jewels.

Discover tales of old Hawaii at King David Kalakaua's beach cottage; at the sites of three heiau, ancient stone temples; and at the royal bathing pool.  Throughout the resort are murals by renowned artist Herb Kane, outrigger canoes carved from prized koa wood, and displays of delicate feather lei.

Guests will stay in either Garden View or Ocean View Rooms and enjoy three delicious meals a day. Workshops will be spread over the grounds–near the beach cottage, close to the heiau, or on the beach. A sandy beach with excellent swimming and snorkling is right next door.
