You Oughta Be in Pictures!

We are proud to be working with award winning documentary filmmaker Kenny Martinez Burgmaier of Maui Reflection Films and Jazz Alley TV to produce a feature-length documentary about Aunty Nona Beamer and the Aloha Music Camps. Filming began at the February, 2007 camp and continued at the June 2007 Aloha Camp. Surprisingly, this is the first time our beloved kupuna has been featured in a film!
The documentary will show how the Aloha Music Camp reflects Aunty Nona's life's work to spread knowledge of Hawaiian culture. We'll have interviews, workshop footage, concerts, and lots of candid shots ~ a look at your wonderful Aloha Camp as seen through the eyes of Aunty Nona.
